The Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) is pleased to announce that two TIFF Special Events will be held again this year
at the Roppongi Hills Arena: Tokyo Cinema Cuisine and Cinema Music Jam produced by J-WAVE.
Tokyo Cinema Cuisine was launched at TIFF in 2014, and attracted enormous crowds by serving original menus created by famous Japanese chefs whose restaurants are so popular that it’s difficult to make reservations. This year, five leading Japanese chefs will be serving specially-created Chinese, Sushi, French, Japanese and Italian dishes. These exclusive dishes will be only available at reasonable prices at the 28th TIFF from October 23 to 31, 2015.
Cinema Music Jam produced by J-Wave is back to thrill both film and music funs with talented musicians from a variety of genres — J-pop, enka/Japanese ballads, jazz and even a former Takarazuka Revue star. The programs will focus on film music, including selections from Hollywood, Disney, Ghibli and more. A band with jazz player TOKU (Vo/F.Hr), Hajime Mizoguchi (Vc), Sarah Àlainn (Vo/Vl), Jun Miyakawa (Pf), and and Tomoaki Kanno (Dr) will collaborate with guest vocalists each evening and liven up this highly acclaimed music event from October 26 to 30, 2015.
