Introduction

The war for existence of Earth begins! The end of the century, the mass generated Gyaos appear in Shibuya. Gamera chasing Gyaos, also comes to the town in shambles. While Ayana, a girl who lost her parents in a battle between Gyaos and Gamera four years ago, finds an unidentified creature in a shrine. She names it Iris and starts to bring up wishing it to defeat Gamera.

Shusuke Kaneko

Born in Tokyo in 1955. After graduating from Tokyo Gakugei University, joined Nikkatsu in 1978 as an assistant director. Made the directorial debut in 1984 and got New Director Award at Yokohama F. F. Left Nikkatasu in 1985. Best Director Award at Yokohama F. F. and Kumamoto Film Festival in 1988. The Blue Ribbon Awards for Best Director and Best Director Award at Yokohama F.F. in 1995. The Japan SF Grand Prize at SFWJ and Japan Inter-Design Forum Award in 1997.
