Kiyoshi Saeki
He joined the Chiezo Kataoka Production through Mansaku Itami’s support. He worked for Nikkatsu Uzumasa film studio and Shinko Kinema before moving to Toho Pictures. He made his directorial debut with Appare Isshin Tasuke (1945) starring Kenichi Enomoto. He made period dramas at Toei Kyoto Studio after moving to TOEI, where he directed Brutal Tale of Chivalry (1965). Brutal Tale of Chivalry: The Traitor Shall Die (1972) is his last theatrical work.
