Introduction

The hard-boiled MOZU police series by author Go Osaka was made into a TV series first, and now, director Eiichiro Hasumi, the hit-maker of the UMIZARU series brings it to the big screen! Kuraki, Osugi, and Akeboshi of the Public Security Bureau bring to light the "Mozu Incidents", a series of mysterious crimes haunting the department. Six months later come two major terror attacks, both the handiwork of the criminal mastermind Takayanagi and the assassin Gondo. They are involved in a monstrous conspiracy with the mysterious "DARUMA".

Making his debut with UMIZARU (2004), he has brought out a best-selling movie almost every year since, continuing the UMIZARU series with Limit of Love (2006), The Last Message (2010), and Brave Hearts (2012), the top-grossing motion picture of 2012. For TV he has directed such titles as "Double Face" (2012), and seasons 1 and 2 of the police drama MOZU. His Assassination Classroom is one of the biggest hits of 2015.
